Highlands HQ
is new tourism service for the Southern Highlands and is being developed
by Ryan and Ali Boyd. However it's not a tourist information or booking service but instead a platform for linking you and the Southern Highland's tourism businesses together so you may find what you're looking for.
After travelling throughout various regions in Australia and internationally
they began to explore their local area. They knew the region was considered
one of the best locations in Australia but were still amazed at how
much it had to offer. It's like the old saying "you don't know
what's in your backyard until you look". The Southern Highlands,
like other top holiday spots, is a very popular weekend destination
and lifestyle choice and sometimes when you live somewhere you don't
realise what's actually about.
After they had the idea they searched the web for Southern Highland
tourist information sites and thought they could add their own touch
to promote the Southern Highlands region. That became Highlands HQ.
Ali is in the graphic design industry and has also completed numerous
writing courses including a Bachelor of Creative Writing at the University
of Wollongong. Ryan is the founder of an internet company which owns
and operates around eight national websites to do with property, finance,
employment, shopping and much more.
